Another year at Hogwarts, another year to hide from my parents. It gets frustrating sometimes to have to hide what is really happening in the Wizarding world from my family. I'm happy Katya isn't a witch and doesn't have to go through all the things that are happening. When an evil wizard takes over your world, it's a hard thing to hide. It's starting to make it's way to the muggle news before I left, like odd disappearings.
Hopefully my family will stay safe and I won't get too caught up into things. I'll help but I don't want to die. Fighting bad wizards seems exciting but I like my life, I'd like to keep it.
On the possitive side, I get to see Lily again and hang out with her now. I've missed her terribly during the summer. Now that we're back at school, we'll be inseperable again. It's a great life to be here when you minus all the chaos in the world.
On the not so possitive side, I have to deal with Sirius again. Lily has to deal with James and I get to deal with his friend, go figure. He is so annoying sometimes. Sure, he's funny, sure he's nice, but man-oh-live, can he fallow a few rules every now and then? Forget his good looks, his charming personality.
Though, I'm happy to see him again. I found myself missing his troublesome ways during the summer. Him and James keep things interesting, to say the least.

Ugh, I can't believe I was catching people breaking the rules while I was in my pajamas. I mean, how lame can you get? Honestly, that has to have been the nerdiest, dorkiest, and loserish thing that has ever happened to me. I think I've reached an all time low. I know what people say about, I know my reputation. I'm actually quiet proud of it but still. I don't want to be remembered as the girl who was so obsessed with rules that she didn't even sleep.
I should let my hair down once and a while I suppose but I like the idea of people thinking highly of me. Teacher's respect me, my friends like me (only because they know once you past the rules, there is a human there), and students look up to me because I'm good at school work. I hope Sirius knows that there is a human behind all the rules, I'm sure he's seen it on at least half a dozen occasions throughout our relationship.
Not only did I hit a new dorky low, I also had a hard time getting a spell, a charm specifically. That does not happen. It just does not. How frustrating, to not understand it. Charm's is my best subject, my favorite subject. Well, I eventually learned it after I practiced on my own, Professor Flitwick getting called away to help with a mess. How frustrating though. I suppose there is a first time for everything, I just hadn't expected it coming from a subject I was usually so good at.
No bad news from the family about the condition of the muggle world, though they're not really on the look out for anything. Nothing too rough is happening right now, so there isn't much I need to worry about. I can concentrate on my school and friends. Maybe this year won't turn out so horrible.
